Okay, this is not cool. I was enjoying that cup of coffee, alright!

[The voice on the other end of your Gears comes through before the feed does, or at least it seems to. Then whoever's holding it seems to realize that they're covering the camera with their thumb and a man in a cheap blue suit with spiky hair that looks like it belongs in Tomorrowland is revealed.]

Oh, whoops-- Is this a camera? Nifty. Wonder if I can get my ringtone on this thing, I paid for that.

[Right when he says that he realizes that is not the point, and he coughs into his fist.]

Alright, considering this thing is hooked up to a network, I'm going to assume I'm not the only person who's been sucked away from home. Anybody want to share what's going on? I really, really hate being in the dark. And I really, really want to get home. Or at least get another cup of coffee. I feel like I'm gonna need it.

It's pretty clear that Mr Wright doesn't seem to remember his last stay here, but would he remember Layton? They did solve the Labyrinth City mystery together, even if... it did kinda take them a short while to recognize each other here, and not because the muns were surprised for a fucking amazing crossover, but since it's really been a while. Well, time to greet him. ]

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that you'll be stuck here with the rest of us for quite a while.

[France smiles, a combination of sympathy and bitterness.]

You would think, with the hundreds of people who have appeared and disappeared here in the fashion that they have, that someone would have noticed something. As it is, it seems to operate entirely in the realm of the fantastic.

[He shakes his head and then brightens a bit.]

People that come here tend to be from entirely different worlds as one's own as well. Some of them have very interesting stories.

[Unfortunately not, since his mun hasn't played that game yet, though I really, really want to. :'C]

[Phoenix sighs.]

...Wow, really? Well... I guess being a fantastic world would explain a lot of things.

[He's just about to bid Phoenix a good night, but then it suddenly hits him; didn't Layton and the real Luke solve a mystery with someone named Phoenix Wright once? Perhaps he should confirm this...]

[ The game isn't actually out in Japan yet either, so no one has played it. 8( The previous Phoenix-mun and I just had these two remember each as partners, then speak never of that case again. ]

The fortunate thing, though, is that we arrive back home at the exact point of time that we have left at, or so I've heard.

[ So it's okay, Nick, you can go right back to celebrating your case by spending all of your money on Maya's burgers. ]

[If this all turns out to be a dream, France would be miffled but only too happy to accept it. He's had worse dreams, although none quite so long and detailed. It's better than some of the alternatives France can imagine.]

[France nods, an air of knowledge about him.]

There are a great many people here who come from worlds where magic and such is entirely possible and even a fixture of everyday life. There is even one man here who claims to have traveled to the Moon on a whale.
